I did a delegation for the Net Zero Progress Report at the city of Kitchener on April 20, 2026. The chair had left his video on by accident for the last half of my delegation. He started the meeting by saying that allowing the citizens to speak is an important part of democracy.
I wasn't convinced that council did want to hear what a constituent had to say about their own documents.
What needs to be done? Has our lack of involvement gone to far to be able to reverse the trend that is happening?
